The live entertainment park in Vendée has become a worldwide phenomenon thanks to its unique artistic concept. The park takes elements from the history of the Vendée and France and adapts them into life-size shows. To bring these shows to life and welcome the public, Puy du Fou employs no fewer than 6,000 salaried staff and volunteers in over 100 professions.
In 2018, to cope with massive application processing, Puy du Fou’s HR teams went in search of an application management tool to optimize collaborative online recruitment and improve the candidate experience. Their choice fell on Beetween’s collaborative recruitment software.
Issues
Puy du Fou has always had to cope with a high volume of applications. Their old, generalist HR software didn’t allow them to manage recruitment properly.
In fact, the tool did not cover the entire recruitment process, and manual, repetitive tasks such as publishing job offers and replying to each applicant were not integrated into the existing software.
Team recruitment is a team effort! When several people are involved in the recruitment process, it can quickly become a cacophony.
Puy du Fou has a loyal pool of talent, who apply every year to take part in the park’s activities.
