Beetween SAS, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Registry under number 498 620 01 (‘Beetween’, ‘we’, ‘our’, ‘ours’) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This privacy notice explains how we collect, use, and share personal data about you if you are an authorized user or a representative of a company that is a customer and/or partner of Beetween; visiting our website; or contacting us in any other way, for instance, through our customer service. Additionally, this privacy notice explains how you can exercise your rights.

What data do we collect?

We process the data of:

  • our sites and services users.
  • prospects, customers;
  • candidates for a position within Beetween

Data collected when you create a customer account or when you contact us

In order to create your account or to subscribe to one of our offers, you will have to provide us with personal data: your name, your contact information (email address, postal address and telephone number), your banking information.
We also collect your data when you contact us: by sending a contact form, during a phone call or by handing over your contact details or a business card, during a trade show for example.

Automatically Collected Data – Cookies – Trackers

When you browse our websites, we automatically collect certain information such as:

  • the device and the browser used;
  • IP address;
  • the date and time of your navigation;
  • the pages you have visited, your browsing history.

Why and how do we process your personal data?

Commercial and marketing files

Purpose of processing:

Management of customer and prospect files – Sending emails related to the execution of services, management of after-sales service.

Legal basis for processing:

Performance of contractual or pre-contractual measures (Article 6.1.b of the GDPR). Legal obligation concerning accounting documents (Article L123-22 paragraph 2 of the Commercial Code) and tax obligations.

Shelf life:

Duration necessary for the management of the commercial relationship, with some exceptions. 10 years for storage of payment and billing information.

Customer Relationship / Customer Support

Purpose of processing:

  • Announcement of new products and/or services
  • Promotional communication
  • Invitations to events (trade shows, meetings, webinars, conferences, anniversaries …)
  • Distribution of satisfaction surveys and polls
  • Prospecting for new customers

Legal basis for processing:

Your consent (Article 6.1.a of the GDPR)

Shelf life:

Duration of the commercial relationship, plus 3 years from the collection of your data or the last contact from the prospect

Recruitment campaign management

Purpose of processing:

Receipt and processing of applications.

Legal basis for processing:

Beetween’s legitimate interest in filling positions (Article 6.1.f of the RGPD).

Shelf life:

2 years from the last contact with the unsuccessful candidate.

Who is the recipient of the personal data collected?

Beetween does not sell the personal data collected to third parties. This data is shared for the sole purpose of its activities. They are thus shared:

  • Internally, with the departments authorized to carry out these missions;
  • With suppliers and subcontractors. Beetween has them sign contracts with clauses that ensure a level of data protection, confidentiality and security that complies with regulatory standards and the state of the art;
  • With the partners we invite when we organize an event or who invite us for an external event (webinar, speaking engagement…).

Your data may be communicated to the competent public authorities at their request, in compliance with the regulations, in particular for the purpose of tracking down the perpetrators of offences.

Is your personal data transferred outside the European Union?

Regarding access to our websites:

Beetween uses subcontractors and suppliers under conditions that lead to this type of data transfer, particularly to the United States.
We implement all technical, organizational and legal measures to ensure the proper management of these transfers with various means (including the signing of data protection agreements, the signing of standard contractual clauses, the evaluation of subcontractors, as well as the evaluation of adequacy decisions in accordance with Article 45 of the GDPR).

Regarding our software use:

Beetween ensures that the hosting and processing of all personal data collected on candidates (with the exception of the use of its recruitment software) is done on servers hosted in the European Union (France).

What are your rights and how to exercise them?

In accordance with Articles 15 to 22 GDPR, regarding the data we hold about you, you have the following rights:

  • right of access (Article 15 of the GDPR)
  • right of rectification (Article 16 of the GDPR)
  • right to erasure (Article 17 of the GDPR)
  • right to limitation of processing (Article 18 of the GDPR)
  • right to notification of rectification, erasure, limitation of processing (Article 19 of the GDPR)
  • right to data portability (Article 20 of the GDPR)
  • right to object (Article 21 of the GDPR)
  • right not to be profiled (Article 22 of the GDPR)

You can exercise these rights:

  • By clicking on the unsubscribe links available at the bottom of newsletters and marketing emails if you no longer wish to receive them;
  • If you are a customer, by logging into your administration area and contacting our support ;
  • Otherwise, by email at rgpd@beetween.com.

You may be asked to provide proof of identity if necessary to ensure that the request is made by the legitimate owner of the data concerned.
You also have the right to complain to the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL).
